Build spelling tests, worksheets, and activities with our free spelling word lists.

We provide many commonly used spelling word lists. Each list is found within Spelling Test Buddy for Teachers, so that you can quickly import them into your word lists.

You can also create any of our 15 different spelling and phonics worksheet activities directly from the word lists with our integration with Worksheet Creator.

Each grade-level word list contains 30-36 weeks of words, and each is aligned to the Common Core State Standards: Reading: Foundational Skills, RF.3, and NGLS Standard: Reading: Foundational Skills, RF.3. Overall, the curriculum aligns with UFLI, Orton-Gillingham, Words Their Way (WTW), and makes use of Dutch & Fry words for bonus words.
