This program is easy to use and fun to share. I am a mom of 7 but have 3 in school. I don't always have the time to read out the spelling words to test her. Yes! When you create a word list, Spelling Test Buddy generates an audio version of each word. It also generates a version of the word in a sentence, to provide context for the word. When your student takes the test, they can tap on the Play buttons to hear the word or the sentence being read aloud to them, then enter their answer.
Yes! You can use Spelling Test Buddy for multiple children. Add each of your children as Students. Then, when you set them up to practice and take tests, they will open your Classroom Link and enter their unique Student Code.
Yes! We have many parents who use Spelling Test Buddy as a part of their homeschool curriculum. Our Reporting features are perfect for tracking your children’s progress over time.
While Spelling Test Buddy can be used for any grade level, students in grades 3-8 have had the best success with it. We also have intervention, English as Foreign Language, and adult learners use it daily.
We offer a spelling curriculum for grades K-2. We are exploring expanding this to support grades 3-8 in the future.
