Introducing the New 🔈 Teach Me Feature

We’re excited to announce a powerful new addition to Spelling Test Buddy that’s designed to enhance the learning experience for your students. The 🔈 Teach Me feature is now available as one of the Practice options, providing an interactive way for students to learn and understand spelling words before taking their tests.

What is the Teach Me feature

When students are assigned Practice for a Word List by their teacher, and they open to their assignments page, they’ll see the new “🔈 Teach Me” button alongside other practice options. Clicking this button takes them to a dedicated Teach Me page where they can:

1. Listen to the word - Clear audio pronunciation
2. See the spelling - Word is spelled for the student, and each letter pulses to build phonemic and letter awareness
3. Understand the context - Hear the word used in a meaningful sentence to help understand usage and meaning

Getting Started

To use the new Teach Me feature:

1. Assign Practice to your students
2. Students open the Assignment Link and log in with their student code
3. They see the 🔈 Teach Me button, and click on it
4. Students can practice as many times as needed
